Peach Roofing completed a one-day full roof replacement for Ben Dooley in Morningside, installing GAF Timberline HDZ Slate Lifetime architectural shingles with fresh decking, ice-and-water shield, skylight step flashing, and aluminum drip edge—finishing on schedule, leaving the site immaculate, and following up after the first heavy rain to ensure interior dryness.
Scope of Work
- Tear off and dispose of existing shingles and underlayment.
- Install GAF Timberline HDZ Slate Lifetime architectural shingles over synthetic felt.
- Use GAF Sovereign Slate 25-year shingles as starter course and hip & ridge cap.
- Replace up to 32 sq ft of damaged/rotted roof decking (1 sheet ¾” CDX plywood).
- Install ice-and-water barrier in valleys and around skylights.
- Apply new step flashing to three existing skylights.
- Install aluminum drip edge at all eaves and rakes.
- Remove and replace pipe-jack flashing.
- Magnetic nail sweep, cleanup, and haul-away of all debris.
